The amount of data that can be transferred over a network in a given amount of time.
Bandwidth refers to the maximum rate of data transfer across a given path. In web hosting, higher bandwidth allows more data to be transferred to and from a website, which can handle more traffic.
For example, a website with high bandwidth can load more quickly and accommodate more simultaneous visitors.
