Conversion Rate

The percentage of visitors to a website that completes a desired goal (a conversion) out of the total number of visitors.

Conversion Rate is a key metric in digital marketing and e-commerce that measures the effectiveness of a website or campaign. It is calculated by dividing the number of conversions (e.g., purchases, sign-ups) by the total number of visitors, then multiplying by 100 to get a percentage.

For example, if a website has 1000 visitors and 50 of them make a purchase, the conversion rate is 5%.
